Getting Started with Oracle Autonomous Database – A Free Tutorial
Duration: 56 minutes
Learn Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Autonomous Database (ADB) now with this free tutorial!
Oracle’s OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) and ADB (Autonomous Database) environment is very cool. It is also very complicated. It is designed to scale, and to be secure. And when Oracle talks “scale”, they mean the size of Jupiter; and by “secure”, well, Fort Knox ain’t got nothing on OCI.
Unfortunately, no-one said that facilities as powerful as this would necessarily be simple to manage. However, getting started can be easy.
Demonstrations will include creating a virtual machine and an Autonomous DB that might be suitable for any developer or DBA to use to,for example, develop an APEX application before going live.
And, learn about cost – e.g. What does such an ADB environment cost? Possibly nothing at all: the “Always Free” tier is available to everyone. Learn the basics – what’s included and the limits.
This tutorial is not intended to be an in-depth lesson on configuring and using OCI and ADB. This webinar will provide a quick run through of what it can do, including demonstrating how to get started for a project.
PLEASE – Leave a Review! We need your feedback! Thank you.
